Brady as Pumbaa, Darian Sanders as Simba, Forest VanDyke as Banzai, Martina Sykes as Shenzi, and Robbie Swift as Ed plus Jackson Hayes and Mason Lawson, who alternate in the role of Young Simba, and Jaxyn Damasco and Aniya Simone, who alternate in the role of Young Nala.
Winters will join current tour cast members Peter Hargrave as Scar, Gerald Ramsey as Mufasa, Gugwana Dlamini as Rafiki, Nick Cordileone as Timon, Nick LaMedica as Zazu, John E. Winters, who first played Nala on tour from 2010–2013 and subsequently made her Broadway debut in the role in 2012, will play engagements in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Monterrey, Mexico Lubbock, Texas and Albuquerque, New Mexico. Her other credits include lead roles in Motown the Musical, Pippin, Jesus Christ Superstar on NBC, and Hamilton.
The North American tour of Disney’s The Lion King will welcome Syndee Winters back to the role of Nala beginning August 22 and continuing through October 29.
